The city is connected through 12 subway lines. An electronic card must be purchased at the entrance of each station and it can be recharged. The subway operates weekdays from 5 a.m. until midnight, Saturdays from 6 a.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. Electronic card cost: $10 MXN Ticket cost: $5 MXN.

Metrobús
This transport complements subway routes in order to offer greater coverage and mobility through out the city. An electronic card must be purchased at the entrance of each station and it can be recharged. The metrobús operates every day from 4:30 a.m. to 00:40 a.m., but the exact times depend on the route. Electronic card cost: $16 MXN Ticket cost: $6 MXN.

Through this official hop on hop off service it is possible to see the most tourist spots of the city. It has several routes you can choose.

Airport
Mexico Airport (IATA: MEX, ICAO: MMMX), also known as Mexico City International Airport, officially named Benito Juárez International Airport, is the main airport serving the greater Mexico City. Is the busiest airport in Mexico and the second busiest airport in Latin America. The airport is located 5 km (3 miles) east from Downtown Mexico City.
How to get from the airport
Authorized taxis offer comfortable and safe service from the Airport to your destination. These are the only taxis authorized by the Communications and Transport Authority (SCT Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes). Taxi services are located at the international and domestic entrances at Terminals 1 and 2. In both cases, taxi tickets are sold at the modules located near the arrival gates and in the walkway area. Rates are posted in a visible place. For your safety, we recommend you only use the taxi services authorized by this airport, which include: Porto Taxi, Sitio 300, Nueva Imagen, Excelencia, Comfort and Yellow Cab. It is very important to consider the distances and times before using taxi services in the city. It is necessary purchase the corresponding ticket in authorized retail outlets before using their services.
It is possible to take the Metrobus Line 4 heading towards the center of Mexico City. You can board Line 4 of the Metrobus at entrance 7 in Terminal 1 and entrance 2 in Terminal 2, the ticket cost is $30.00 pesos. The subway station closest to the airport is Terminal Aérea Station, Line 5. It is a short walk from AICM Terminal 1, on Boulevard Puerto Aéreo, corner of Av. Capitán Carlos León González. Tickets cost $5.00 pesos each, and you can buy a reusable smart card for $10.00 pesos.
